The personal customization gives flexible shooting options to match the still photography or videography shooting situation. In addition, by using the Mobile version, Focus Preset and A-B Focus can be operated remotely without touching the lens. Users can customize the lens functions and update the firmware through the lens. The 2nd-generation Model A063 is compatible with the new ‘TAMRON Lens Utility’ software (for PC/ for devices with Android™ OS) originally and uniquely developed by TAMRON. Proprietary software tool TAMRON Lens Utility™ for lens function customization The new standard zoom is ideal for a wide range of photographic genres from street photography and portraiture to landscapes and general family events like vacations and holidays. The 28-75mm F2.8 G2 retains the same light weight and compact size while achieving significant improvements to resolution and overall performance across the entire zoom range. The image quality shows marked improvements over the 1st-generation Model A036. The lens demonstrates high resolving power to the edges of the frame at all focal lengths, while also offering the soft and beautiful bokeh that is distinctive to fast-aperture lenses. To minimize optical aberrations to an extreme degree, two LD (Low Dispersion) and GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements are used in an optimal arrangement. The optical construction of the Model A063 deploys 17 elements in 15 groups. With the goal of producing outstanding high image quality befitting a new fast-aperture zoom lens, TAMRON redesigned the optical design in the new 28-75mm F2.8 G2 from scratch. Comes apart real quick & easy when I want to change something or work on the Whoop and locks the canopy on rock solid.Outstanding high-resolution performance delivers an unprecedented photo experience Holds everything together much better than the screw into just that plastic column, especially with the little more weight with an 85 or 95 & a lot more speed in a crash. On my Beta 85 & 95 frames for my Whoops, I'll either drill or run a screw through the plastic column for the canopy screws from the bottom, & then use as long as a bolt as I need for my spacers, f/c, vTx board and up through the canopy holes & tighten it down with a washer & nut on top of the canopy. I did pick up a case of about 1500 different length M2 bolts with a bunch of washers & nuts. Never saw where I could order those type on line. It seemed more often they would throw in a second size set of screws. The brushed boards, B03s & Beecore/Silverware mostly came with the small & sometimes really small ones. By far, I've bought more Crazybees, & they usually come with a good bunch of at least a couple sizes of the flanged screws in the mix. I've ended up with a good bunch of the different size canopy screws with all the different boards I've bought over the years. ![]() It's the whoops (like the Shutterbug 85) I have the most trouble with, because the whoop frames usually need flanged screws to hold the canopy down and I haven't found a place to get longer versions of those screws, so it all just has to be jammed up in the canopy (which I haven't found a way to do yet). I find it's not as bad with toothpicks because you can just run longer screws and spacers to make everything fit. ![]()
